What is an Endowment Fund?

Think of an endowment fund as a savings account that we can never touch. The principal is maintained in perpetuity. Investment returns create a source of income or may be reinvested to grow the principal.Income from our endowment fund gives us long-term stability so we can maintain funding for our grant programs.

Vancouver Foundation

Once we reach our goal of $100,000 we will be investing our endowment fund with the Vancouver Foundation. Vancouver Foundation will allow us to expand our fundraising abilities and benefit from the substantial experience and knowledge of their Investment, Finance and Donor Services staff.

Lasting Legacy

By contributing to our Endowment Fund you will be giving a lasting impact on the lives of LGBT+ Refugees and Newcomers. The regular income distributions will provide funding stability to our sponsorship and community service grant programs.
